Application
This unit describes the skills required to maintain current information and prepare reports for use in the judicial system. This unit applies to those working in the justice environment where preparation of offender management reports is required for communication with courts, other judicial system bodies and offender services. The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to, particularly those related to offender management reports. Those undertaking this unit generally work independently, drawing upon support from familiar resources. They would undertake complex tasks in a range of familiar contexts. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to unit at the time of publication. |

Identify range of reports required by the judicial system in the management of offenders. |
